Oscar León has a degree in pattern making, design, styling and comprehensive image consulting. He designed his first collection in 1996, and since then he has not stopped creating for his own brand, a task that he has combined with designing collections for other national and international companies, such as Mandarina Duck's YS line. Yohji Yamamoto. He has presented his work at the Gaudí Catwalk and at 080 Barcelona Fashion and has been present in high-level international showrooms in London and Paris. Currently, he combines his work as a designer with teaching (teacher at ESDi, URL and Idep), and also collaborates as a stylist for fashion editorials, and is a fashion commentator in the media. OSCARLEON collections are characterized by their enormous identity and complex workmanship. In the summer of 2016 he presented the “Angelique” collection of paintings.
The award-winning collection, “I close my eyes, and I feel you…”, is OSCARLEON's proposal for fall/winter 2017/18. True to its style, very personal and characterized by complex workmanship, it is a transgressive collection that moves and invites reflection, designed for daring and energetic women, with pieces that combine fabrics that provide experimental textures. According to the designer himself, it is a collection based on sensations, feelings and memories. For this collection, the creator has had the collaboration of Opticalia Florit, with its The Look sunglasses collection, and the Victoria sneaker brand, which have completed the styles presented. The colors of the collection are black, white and all ranges of gray, which apply to pants and shirts.
