It's already underway the third edition of the aid plan for the purchase of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles (in addition to charging points).
The objective of this aid plan, as in the first and second edition, is encourage the sale of increasingly environmentally friendly vehicles.
This third edition of the MOVES Plan will be available until 2023 or until funds run out.
Unlike in other editions, this time the Government of Spain has allocated the plan with 400 million euros, expandable to 800 million according to demand.
In the case of Catalonia, the funds allocated total a total of 3,2 million euros for the aid subsidy. Of this figure, 1,4 million go to aid for individuals and the remaining 1,8 go to company fleets. Likewise, an additional 4 million must be taken into account for aid for charging points.
Who can benefit from this aid?
The deductible persons of being final recipients of aid for the acquisition of alternative energy vehicles and implementation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles will be:
● Natural persons of legal age.
● Natural persons who carry out economic activities registered in the Tax Agency.
● Natural persons with disabilities may be minors, with tax residence in Spain.
● The communities of owners.
● Legal entities, validly incorporated in Spain, whose tax identification number (NIF) begins with the letters A, B, C, D, E, F, G, J, R or W.
● Local entities in accordance with article 3 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime.
For their part, the following may not be the ultimate recipients of the aid:
● Dealers or points of sale whose heading in the first section of the Economic Activities Tax rates is 615.1 or 654.1.
● For companies that are in a crisis situation, in accordance with the definition made for these purposes in EU Regulation 651/2014, of June 17, 2014.
● Concurrence of any of the circumstances listed in article 13, sections 2 and 3, of Law 38/2003, of November 17.
● Companies that are subject to a pending recovery order on any aid or subsidy that had been previously granted to them, either because aid has been declared illegal and incompatible with the internal market, or due to any type of non-compliance with the obligations imposed on them. attributed in the concession.
This means that, for qualify for a MOVES Plan subsidy, it is the client who must request help. However, LG Barcelona will act as an intermediary to facilitate the process and make it more enjoyable for the buyer.
Aid for the interested party:
The amount of aid per interested party is applied for the purchase of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) or fuel cell vehicles.
Regarding the acquisition of passenger cars:
● Those interested who purchase an electric or hybrid car with a car that is more than 7 years old to scrap can receive aid of up to €7.000.
● For buyers who do not have a vehicle to scrap, the aid can be up to €4.500.
In the case of purchasing vans:
● Up to 9.000 euros will be subsidized in the event that the user scraps their vehicle that is more than 7 years old.
● In the event that it is not scrapped, there will be up to €7.000 in aid.
It should be mentioned that an additional 10% of aid is also provided to actions in municipalities with less than 5.000 inhabitants, both for the installation of charging infrastructure in these territories and for the purchase of vehicles by people who are registered in them. It also provides an extra 10% to the aid received by people with reduced mobility.
