The A-Class increases its offer with new gasoline engines that complete the range. The new Class A 180 manual with 100 kW (136 HP) thus becomes the entry model to the range with a recommended RRP of 28.800 euros (combined consumption 5,8-5,6 l/100 km, CO emissions2 combined 132 – 129 g/km[1]). As a more performance vehicle, the A 250 4MATIC with 165 kW (224 HP) is now offered, which is equipped as standard with the 7-DCT dual-clutch automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive (combined consumption 6,6-6,5 l/100 km , CO emissions2 combined 151 – 148 g/km1).
The new Class A 180 incorporates the new M282 engine with a displacement of 1,33 liters and develops a power of 100 kW (136 HP), which represents an increase of 10 kW (14 HP) compared to the previous model with a maximum torque of 200 Nm. This model is available with both manual and automatic transmission. For its part, the A 250 4MATIC model has the 2,0-liter M260 engine with 165 kW (224 HP) and 350 Nm of torque associated with the 7-DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The new new A-Class incorporates equipment available until now in higher ranges, such as semi-autonomous driving systems or MULTIBEAM LED headlights. Inside, there is a revolution in its design with its digital screens incorporated as standard for both the central unit and the instrument panel. Additionally, for the Spanish market, extensive standard equipment is incorporated that includes, among others:
- Reversing camera
- MBUX multimedia system (Connect 20 including pre-equipment for navigator and touchpad)
- Voice control “Hey Mercedes”
- Communication module for Mercedes me connectivity services
- Progressive finishing line
- 43,2 cm (17”) alloy wheels
- Leather multifunction sports steering wheel
- THERMOTRONIC air conditioning
- High Performance LED headlights
